The Zoo and Great Wolf Lodge

I have not posted in a while. We have been very busy. Today I registered James for Kindergarten at my old elementary school! My old 2nd grade teacher teaches there still and James may get her for Kindergarten because she switched to teach that grade. I loved her. After 4 years in Young Women's I got called to be the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society. I finally know the young women and then I leave. It is bitter sweet. I feel like I really understand the YW program and I even got the leader Personal Progress Award. I am still going up to girls camp as the 1st year leader though so I get to leave one foot in. I have a very creative Relief Society Meeting coordinator to help me with the responsibilties I am over. I am so grateful for her and the other AMAZING women in the Presidency.

So this month we had groupon tickets to the zoo and then we escaped the non-stop rain to go to the indoor waterslide park at Great Wolf Lodge about 10 minutes away from Jay's parents house in Chehalis. My mom even came and went do the big slides. Jay's brother David and Richard met us for some tornado funnel water sliding, I thought we would flip with all our weight going down this crazy waterslide. James played this amazing wand game that had him on an electronic treasure hunt that spread across the entire hotel and it's 5 stories.

That is so awesome that James may get your old teacher. How do you feel about him starting Kindergarten? It was kind of bitter sweet when Konner started!!

I am so behind on your blog! Love the basketball shots! Love the chopping wood! Love that you met The Hunger Games lady - so cool! I would love to ask her about Katniss agreeing having another Hunger Games at the end of Mockingjay?!?! (I want to believe it was a ploy to have that horrible woman trust her before she kills her?!?! Maybe?) Love that you went to Wolf Creek Lodge. It's on our long-term list! Love it all, Sue!

Congrats on the calling? I have that same calling, so maybe I'll get to see you at the stk training meeting next month.

My goodness, James is looking like such a big kid these days! I can't believe he's going into kindergarten!

Congratulations on the new calling. I'm sure that's a hard transition to make, but I hope that you'll love it!

PS, I miss you :)
