barking seals... or in other words, James and Susie

So I don't know what hit my family but James and I both got a killer bug that left James with barking coughs in the middle of the night (croup) and me with a sore throat and no voice these past two weeks. He got it last week and I stayed home with him from church and all other outings then I was stricken and missed this this week. I was feeling better so for valentines day Jay and I did a very cool thing. I have been working on my family history and found relatives that needed temple work done so Jay and I did as many ordinances as we could for my great great grandmother and grandfather McCoy on my mothers side. We were baptized and continued until they were sealed. It took six hours (thanks Mom for watching James) but I had never done anything like this and it was the perfect Valentines Day outing. Jay and I were even sealed in the same sealing room as when we were married. The sealer congratulated us like WE were the ones who just got sealed. Soooo special. Then we ate Thai food. Then I completely lost my voice. It is now coming back and I am excited to get back to life, the gym, human contact.... Happy Valentines everyone! I am so grateful for my two conversation hearts Jay and James and for pairs skating in the Olympics go China... they were amazing!

What a nice thing to do. My grandparents need to be sealed and I want to do it, and I still haven't!!! I am such a slacker! I'm glad you are feeling better.

So sorry to hear you guys have been sick. We have been too ever since Don left. First the kids got the stomach flu and then we have had these nasty cold bugs too. Coughing, sore throat, runny noses. It lasts forever! Glad to hear that you guys got to go to the temple and do sealings. That is so cool that it was in the same room you guys were sealed in. Awesome!

I wish blogspot had a "like" feature. Because I don't have anything brilliant to say about your blog post other than " I like." :)
