Good old Forks, Wa!

Jay took me to go see Twilight and then we drove to Forks for the weekend!!!! I had never been to the Olympic Peninsula and it took about
3 hours to drive there. We took a ferry and had a Twilight tour of all the suggested sites from the book. La Push was absolutely gorgeous. I forget that Washington has potential for big waves and people actually surf there in the summer. This was one of
the best road trips of my life. Thanks Jay! This is our tour guide next to Bella's car. He works for the Chamber of Commerce. His 13 person van was full so we followed in our Toyota.

That is so cool! What a great weekend! Looks like fun...I couldn't even drag my HH to see the movie, but maybe he'd be up for a road trip?....

That sounds like a blast! Ben and I will have to do it when we are back in town!!! It's funny, because Stephanie Meyer had never been there when she wrote the book, so I can't imagine her descriptions being that accurate, but I am sure they filmed there- they can't recreate all that moss in Hollywood!

Hey, will you e-mail me your new address? I only have your old one from back when you lived in Ogden-woah!:

(You can cut and paste- I know it is rediculous, but I thought I would put my teaching e-mail instead of my personal e-mail on a public site...)

How cool! What a fun little roadtrip. I am so impressed that Jay went. There's no way I could get Jon to do that. Glad you got to go.

Love the pictures Susie! You will have to tell me where you stayed and everything. It looks like a trip I would like to do as well, and I think Eric and the kids would love it too. Gorgeous! (I'm glad I found your blog, it's fun to see what everyone is doing!)
