We had a fun bike ride to our favorite little park last night. A resident cat lives nearby and loves to come to the playground and meet the kids. We met the owner of the cat and she is so nice. Mel is the cat's name and he comes right up to James and nuzzles him. Mel is almost always there so we call it Mel's park. They had blackberries at the park too so we all picked some. There were even some at James' level. It was kind of magical. Jay does desserts. Not me so much and he made a pie out the berries we picked. It was such a cool livin' off the land kind of thing. I love this bike kaddie. I found it at a garage sale for like 15 dollars. Go garage sales!!!!

That does sound like a magical evening. I really wish we even had functioning bikes to attach a kiddie trailer to. Sounds like fun!
And that is totally impressive that Jay made a pie out of blackberries that you picked. It sounds delicious!

James looks so cute in his little helmet with his doll. You are the best garage saler. I have wanted a bike trailer for the kids for years now and have never found one. Good job Susie. Isn't it fun picking blackberries. That pie must have been yummy. What a fun outing.

Sounds like a lot of fun...a fun family outing! And go Jay for using the berries to make a pie! I wish we had a park close by. We have to go to Victor, which we could, but it is a ways away. We actually do go to the park quite often, but we don't go on bikes. For one, we don't own bikes, and the other part because it is a ways away.
