Up and Over

My spirited James has figured out how to climb over the crib railings.( OH MAN!) So I discovered a beautiful product. The crib tent. Call me a bad parent for zipping him in to his baby jail but I can't tell you how much calmer I am knowing that he is not falling on his head at 4 in the morning and he is sleeping back on schedule and is less cranky. We are not quite ready for him to be in a toddler bed.

You do whatever it takes to keep your kids safe and the parents sane! If I had needed it, I would have done it too. Things are so much more complicated when they can escape, aren't they? ;)

I always thought about this, maybe we'll try it if Lily gets adventurous. I'm glad you like it.We miss you guys.

It's not a jail! It's a brilliant idea. Luckily, Benjamin has not been brave enough to attempt jumping out of his crib, but I'm just waiting for it to happen! I'm debating whether I should put him in a toddler bed soon, but it feels kind of early to me too. It's kind of a strange transition time, isn't it?
