Big Move!

I finally have time to update. We moved to Everett!!!! The 5 year PHD Psychology program was too demanding for Jay so we have decided to move in with my parents until we get established here in the northwest. We love it here and would like to raise our family somewhere around here it we can. We still may do a two year masters program in the near future but we are going to work for a bit. I am so grateful that my parents are so welcoming. We feel really blessed and they are so fun. James is sure loving being close to both set of grandparents. Our digital camera is somewhere in one of our boxes so I don't have any pictures yet. Wish us luck. Hey, guess what? I turned 28!!!! I celebrated by going crazy at the nice garage sales here in Washington. I got a jogging stroller-$10, tons of nice baby clothes and a baby bike caddie thing-$15. I also learned how to sell things on Craig's list. So fun.
-The picture above is the hammering man is outside of the Seattle Art Museum. (SAM) He hammers everyday except for one. Can you guess Which day? I thought this picture represents our switch from student to work reality plus I just think the SAM is cool.

Oh wow! Big changes. I'm sad you won't be around when I come hang out in Utah, but I'm sure it's for the best. I can personally vouch for the fact that it's a really hard decision to quit graduate school---but it feels so much better when it's over and done with. Tough choices....

Here's a couple of entries I wrote about the dilemma, if it makes you feel better:

Have patience...

PhD: Please Hire. Desperate.

Go Jay. Grad school is a huge decision, and better to get out right when you know its not right than stick it out and be miserable. AND...we're neighbors!! You know this means we need to have a playdate, right? I demand it! Glad to have you back in the NW!

I have to admit, I'm sad we won't see you as often, but I hope it's not too long in between visits!

Good luck getting established. We'll miss you!
